Isanti County farmer directs donation to local Braham Area High School Activities
Braham Area High School Activities received a $2,500 donation from America’s Farmers Grow Communities, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund and directed by local farmers Jim and Bev Carlson of Isanti County. The activities department will be able to use the money in ways to help all of the students here at Braham Area Schools who are involved in an after-school activity.
Jim stated, “I chose the Braham Area High School Activities to receive this donation because all the activities at Braham have been very successful and I want to give them an extra boost.”

For six years, America’s Farmers Grow Communities has collaborated with farmers to donate over $22 million to more than 8,000 community organizations across rural America. Winning farmers will direct donations to nonprofits to help fight rural hunger, purchase life saving fire and EMS equipment, support ag youth leadership programs, buy much needed classroom resources, and so much more.
