We welcome any donations of gowns after the graduation ceremony. You may donate them to the choir department at any time after graduation. If you do so, thank you in advance.

Any students who have requested a gown from the choir department to use for baccalaureate and graduation may pick it up in the band room from Mr. Johnson on the Friday prior to Baccalaureate before or after school. You must have a cap also, which you had to order from Jostens, or can use a siblings. If you have not taken care of this you will need to deal directly with Jostens.

May 22nd, Tuesday will be the FIRST LOCKER CHECK. This is the locker you chose at the beginning of the school year. Locks must be off, and lockers must have all graffiti and stickers cleaned off. No garbage or trash, but books may be in your locker. This check will be at 3 pm. Do not leave any valuables in your locker.

May 24th, Thursday morning, will be the final locker check. Nothing may be in the locker. All books, valuables etc. must be removed and the locker must be cleaned. Any locker still unclean may result in your diploma not being available on graduation evening.

Be sure to check and pay any outstanding fines in the office by 12:00 noon on Friday, May 25. Deadlines for fines and lockers are not negotiable. Please be responsible.

May 25th, 8:00 a.m. graduation practice. Meet in C100 and please be on time. You MUST attend and participate in the practice in order to go through the evening ceremony on May 25th. THIS IS POLICY. Appropriate attire is required for practice, no caps, sunglasses etc. You do not need your cap or gown for practice. Also remember that while you are in the school building you are expected to act appropriately. If you are asked to leave from practice, you will not be allowed to return for the ceremony.

After practice is over, please leave the school immediately, unless you have organized to stay to complete work or otherwise. You are now a visitor and must have a visitor’s pass if you return.

Please report to C100 by 6:30 on Friday evening, May 25th. Remember this is a special occasion for many members of your family and community, as well as yourself. No senior is allowed to carry a purse, camera or phone into the gym during the processional. The staff is not responsible for anything left in C100 during the ceremony. Please do not leave cards and/or gifts in C100 either.

Please dress appropriately for the occasion. Avoid flip-flops, old tennis shoes, jeans or t-shirts etc. Writing or tape on the top of graduation hats is not allowed.

After the ceremony you will return to C100 to pick up your diploma. The senior class advisors will distribute diplomas for one half hour after the ceremony ends, then C100 will be locked up. You will be able to pick up your diploma the following week at the main office.

If you do not receive a diploma due to obligations, you may see Mrs. Johnson in the office the week after graduation.
